FFA Cup semi-final details revealed

Blockbuster FFA Cup midweek action returns with the semi-finals to be played on consecutive nights next week.

Perth Glory continue to juggle a hectic schedule as they travel to the Kingston Heath Soccer Complex to take on Bentleigh Greens on Tuesday.

Kenny Lowe’s men face a short turnaround, facing the Victorian outfit just two days after the cross-nation trip to Gosford for an A-League clash with Central Coast Mariners.

Meanwhile the Mariners will head to Coopers Stadium on Wednesday night where a red-hot Adelaide United awaits.

Both matches will kick off at 7.30pm AEDT.

Bentleigh Greens, the solitary PS4 National Premier Leagues club still in the Cup, will return to the venue of their quarter final triumph over Adelaide City.

It will be the first time the side has faced A-League opposition in the Cup after they eliminated Blacktown City, Sydney Olympic and the South Australians on their remarkable run to the last four.

Glory enter the semi-finals off the back of a 4-2 extra time win over Melbourne Victory in the last eight, which followed victories over the Newcastle Jets and Victorian outfit St Albans Saints.

The other semi-final pits a team that has had to overcome A-League clubs at each stage of the competition against a side that is yet to run into a topflight opponent until now.

Adelaide accounted for Wellington Phoenix, Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC, while the Mariners defeated South Coast Wolves, Olympic FC and Palm Beach Sharks on their way to the semi-finals.

Both matches will be shown live and exclusively on Fox Sports 4 and 4HD.
