Former Sydney FC midfielder Hagi Gligor has signed a one-year deal with Perth Glory.
The 20-year-old was released by the Sky Blues at the end of the 2014-15 season.
But he has headed west, penning a one-year deal with an option for a second season.
Gligor made 18 A-League appearances for Sydney FC in three seasons, and he hopes to build on that in Perth.
"It’s been a great few years in my career so far and I am looking forward to capitalising on that experience with my move to Perth," he said.
"It’s a new and exciting chapter for me and I’ll be doing my best to impress Kenny Lowe and the coaching staff to get as many starts as I possibly can."
Glory coach Kenny Lowe was thrilled with the signing and is excited by Gligor's potential.
"Chris [Gligor] is another young player with a good pedigree and great potential, and we’re delighted he’s made the move here," he said
"He’s represented the Olyroos and Young Socceroos so that indicates the calibre of player he is."
Antony Golec, Alex Grant and Jerrad Tyson are the other players to have signed for the Glory in the off-season.comments
