Inaugural FFA Cup final a sell-out

The inaugural FFA Cup Final between Adelaide United and Perth Glory is officially sold out after the last remaining tickets were snapped up earlier on Thursday.

The high demand for tickets means a packed house at Coopers Stadium on Tuesday night for the Cup’s showpiece event.

“For the Westfield FFA Cup Final to be completely sold out indicates how well this new competition has been received and highlights its popularity not only among football fans but Australia’s sporting public,” Football Federation Australia CEO David Gallop said.

“Both clubs have done extremely well to reach the decider and it’s fitting that they will play in front of a full house on what will be a historic and magnificent occasion.

“Regardless of whether or not you support either team, all eyes will be on Coopers Stadium on Tuesday night as two in-form teams attempt to become the very first winners of the Westfield FFA Cup.”

The match will be shown live and exclusive on Fox Sports 505 with coverage from 7pm AEDT.

There will be no further tickets available for purchase.
