Isaias extends Adelaide stay
Isaias was part of the Adelaide's inaugural FFA Cup winning squad in December and was crowned the 2013/14 Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion.
After a total of 49 appearances for the Reds since first signing for the club in 2013, the 28-year-old and his family are happy and settled in the City of Churches.
“I have decided to extend my contract here because I am very happy,” Isaias said.
“It was easy for me because the club wants me here and my family is also very happy here – we love the Adelaide life.
“Everything is helping me because I love the football that we’re playing and I trust in the way that we play. Also knowing that a lot of my teammates have re-signed for the next seasons is important for me too.
“I’m really enjoying my role in the team and I feel like I am an important player in the team, but every player is important and every player is helping us (progress).”
Adelaide coach, Josep Gombau, said Isaías' experience and knowledge of the Reds’ playing style made the No. 8 an extremely influential figure in the squad's future ambitions.
“We are happy for this extension (to Isa’s contract),” Gombau explained.
“He is a player that for us is very important and he is a key player in the team.
"He understands a lot of the style and our systems and our movements and he is our brain in the centre of the field.
“Now that he has re-signed with us, we can enjoy his football for more seasons to come.”
