Jeronimo exits Newcastle Jets

Newcastle Jets have parted ways with yet another experienced player as attacker Jeronimo Neumann exits the club.

The A-League outfit announced the "mutual termination" of the Argentine’s contract on Wednesday.

Jeronimo linked with the Jets in July last year and scored three goals in 13 appearances this season.

A former Estudiantes and Independiente Rivadavia player, he had a far more successful stint with Adelaide United where he made 51 appearances and scored 16 goals between 2012 - 2014.

The Jets recently sacked five senior players over claims of a player revolt, including skipper Kew Jaliens, club legend Joel Griffiths and former Socceroo David Carney.
