Netflix's critically-acclaimed Untold series switches its attention to UK football for the first time with candid, no-holds-barred documentaries on Leicester City's 2016 Premier League-winning talisman Jamie Vardy, Liverpool's 'Miracle of Istanbul' in the 2005 Champions League final and iconic Wimbledon hardman Vinnie Jones.

Packed with grit, resilience, heartbreak and dressing-room banter, Untold UK will go beyond the headlines and upend what we thought we knew about these iconic stories in three standalone documentaries.
First up is Vardy, the personification of the ultimate football underdog story. The documentary uses unseen archive footage, raw dressing-room tales and interviews with the striker, his wife Rebekah, teammates, managers and oldest mates to chart how a lad from Sheffield rose from a non-League forward working factory shifts to firing 5,000/1 outsiders Leicester to the Premier League title.
Then comes Liverpool's Miracle of Istanbul, when the Reds fought back from 3-0 down at half-time to beat AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final. This episode relives every heart-stopping moment from that unforgettable night while chronicling the team's journey to the final and told by those who made it happen, including manager Rafa Benitez, captain Steven Gerrard and Liverpool heroes Jamie Carragher and Xabi Alonso.
Last but not least is former Wimbledon hardman Jones, whose path from football's most feared player to Hollywood tough guy has been anything but ordinary. In his own words, the ex-midfielder charts his rise from the building sites of Wealdstone to FA Cup glory with Wimbledon's 'Crazy Gang' and the hills of West Hollywood.
