Brighton, meanwhile, have played twice; winning one and losing one. An opening day defeat to Chelsea was littered with promising signs and these were realised in a thumping 3-0 victory over Newcastle last weekend.
Graham Potter has his side playing attractive football on a relatively small budget and many are tipping the Seagulls to surprise a few people this season.
A particular highlight has been the electric form of right-back Tariq Lamptey - signed from Chelsea on a permanent deal this summer. The Englishman has pace to burn, a great final ball and is bristling with confidence. With Manchester United's left hand side an obvious weak spot, expect Lamptey to play another starring role this afternoon, whatever the scoreline.
