The Netherlands Euro 2024 squad finished third in Group D, but managed to qualify for the knockout stages as one of the best third-placed sides at the tournament before comfortably making it through their last 16 tie.

Things weren't quite as easy in the quarter-finals for the Dutch, however, with Turkey taking the lead in the first half of the match. The Netherlands rallied in the second half, though, with Stefan de Vrij powering a header into the Turkey goal in the 70th minute, before a Mert Muldur own goal six minutes later sent the Oranje into the final four.
