Jaidi set for Tunisia century

TUNIS - Birmingham City defender Radhi Jaidi is set to win his 100th cap for Tunisia after being named for next week's friendly against Sudan.

The 33-year-old, whose contract at the English Premier League club will not be renewed next month, is part of a 21-man squad named by the Tunisian Football Federation for the match at Rades, on the outskirts of Tunis, on May 28.

The game is preparation for two World Cup qualifiers for Tunisia next month, at home to Mozambique on June 6 and Nigeria on June 20.

Jaidi debuted for Tunisia in a World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in June, 1996 and won his 99th cap in his country's last game in Kenya in March.
