Figueroa rejoins Rosario Central

BUENOS AIRES - Much-travelled former Argentina striker Luciano Figueroa has returned to his first club Rosario Central from Genoa.

Figueroa, who began his career at Central in 2001 and played for Argentina at the 2004 Copa America and 2005 Confederations Cup in Germany, signed a two and a half year contract, the club said on their official website.

The 28-year-old has also had spells with Birmingham City, Cruz Azul, Villarreal, River Plate and Boca Juniors.
