Palermo defender Simon Kjaer has revealed he he may leave the club next summer following the World Cup finals.
The 20-year-old centre-back has made 34 Serie A appearances for the Rosanero since arriving from FC Midtjylland a year ago, netting three times.
And - barring injury - the youngster will now be heading to South Africa, after Denmark sealed their place at next year's global showpiece with a 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Sweden.
Manchester United, Liverpool, AC Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid have all been linked with the starlet - who has five caps for his country - with Kjaer recently revealing that he would be open to a move to Old Trafford should Sir Alex Ferguson's side come calling.
And he has now hinted that this season could be his last for Palermo.
"I am aware that if I play well in the World Cup, I will have a good chance of changing teams," he told Sporten.
"However, I am not in any rush. I have to be patient and play well every Sunday, this is the most important thing for me.
"But it will not make much difference what team I play for next season."comments
