Arsenal, Aston Villa and Birmingham City want to sign Valencia man-mountain Nikola Zigic, according to reports.
The 6ft 8in Serbian striker scored an impressive 13 league goals in just 19 appearances on loan at Racing Santander last season. However, the 29-year-old - who has netted 16 international goals for World Cup finalists Serbia - has featured just four times in La Liga for Los Che in 2009/10 and is believed to be keen on a move away in January. Zigic was reportedly a transfer target for Blackburn, Sunderland, Everton and Stoke during the summer, only to opt to remain in Spain and fight for his place at the Mestalla.
But with next summer's South Africa showpiece on the horizon, the forward is now desperate for regular action and should be available for an affordable price of around £8 million, according to the player's agent. “I’m sure that Zigic will switch clubs in January if a good offer arrives,” Milan Calasan said in The Mirror. “I can only say that the price should be convenient for everyone and not too high."comments
