Quiz! Can you name the line-ups from when England beat the Netherlands at Euro 96?
England take on the Netherlands in Amsterdam this month as Gareth Southgate assesses his options ahead of the World Cup in Russia. The Dutch failed to qualify for the tournament after finishing third in their group behind France and Sweden.
Despite that, the Oranje have a good record against England, most recently beating the Three Lions at Wembley in March 2016. In fact, England have been victorious just once since 1982 in 13 meetings between the sides.
That win, however, was a famous one. It came in the 1996 European Championship where hosts England pasted the Dutch at Wembley, taking a 4-0 lead before a late consolation actually helped the Netherlands limp out of the group in second spot. But can you remember the men Terry Venables and Guus Hiddink selected that day?
Eight minutes are on the clock for you to name the starting XIs (plus the three substitutes both sides used). Give it a go below, let us know how you get on @FourFourTwo and please share it with your mates at the same time.
