William Hill agree Malaga shirt deal

MADRID - William Hill and Malaga have agreed a deal for the British bookmaker to sponsor the La Liga club's shirts for three seasons.

The deal could be worth up to one million euros per season to Malaga depending on performance, according to a William Hill spokesman.

"Malaga is the closest La Liga club to our business base in Gibraltar," the company's chief executive Henry Birch said in a statement on Malaga's website.

"As well as the huge Spanish fan base on the coast, we know that Malaga also has a huge expatriate following in this part of the country."
