Gabulov ruled out with broken jaw

MOSCOW - Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov will be out for the rest of the year after breaking his jawbone during Sunday's derby against city rivals Spartak, the Russian Premier League club said on Monday.

Gabulov, Russia's second-choice keeper behind Igor Akinfeyev, was injured when he collided with Spartak's Brazilian striker Welliton in the first half of the tense encounter which ended 1-1.

"Doctors told me it would take at least two months for the bone to heal so the season is practically over for me," Gabulov was quoted as saying by local media.
