Fulham land Greening on loan

LONDON - West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jonathan Greening is to join Fulham on a season-long loan subject to a medical, the Premier League club said on their website on Thursday.

The Londoners had three bids for the 30-year-old rejected during the close-season but the two clubs have now agreed a loan deal which is expected to be made permanent at the end of the season.

Greening, a former England U21 international, began his career at York City and has also played for Manchester United and Middlesbrough. He was a regular in the Albion team relegated from the Premier League last season.
