West Ham United v Liverpool live stream, Sky Sports, Sunday 31 January, 4.30pm GMT

Liverpool will be looking for back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since mid-December when they face West Ham on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side ended in a five-match winless run with an authoritative performance against Tottenham on Thursday. The Reds ran out 3-1 victors in north London and were in control for most of the game, with Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Sadio Mane finding the net after the champions went four matches without a goal. Four points adrift of top spot, Liverpool are not out of the title race just yet.

West Ham were also victorious in midweek. David Moyes’ men fell behind to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, but their response was excellent and they fully deserved their 3-2 win. The Hammers are now up to fifth in the table and will climb above Liverpool with another victory here.

Despite their impressive win, Liverpool’s defensive crisis deepened at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Joel Matip, who has been in and out of the team with recurring fitness problems all season, has now joined Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez on the long-term treatment table, which could see the Reds reverse their position and sign a centre-back before the transfer window closes.

Fabinho will need to be assessed after missing the Spurs game, with Jordan Henderson and Nathaniel Phillips likely to get the nod in the heart of the backline if the Brazilian does not make it. Naby Keita and Diogo Jota are also out.

West Ham will be unable to call upon the services of Arthur Masuaku and Darren Randolph, but Moyes has no fresh injury problems to contend with. The Hammers are in terrific form and have only lost one home game since the opening weekend of the campaign, so Liverpool should take nothing for granted on Sunday afternoon.

Kick-off is at 4.30pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a West Ham United v Liverpool live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:

A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.

Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price
