Manchester City can take another step towards the Premier League title when they travel to Aston Villa on Wednesday.
The Citizens’ dreams of a quadruple season ended on Saturday when they were knocked out by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals.
Pep Guardiola’s side have already secured a place in the Champions League semi-finals against PSG, while they face Tottenham on Sunday in the League Cup final.
They need to focus on the bread and butter of domestic football for now, though, after a recent dip in form.
City lost 2-1 to Leeds in their last league outing and now have two defeats in their last three games including the Chelsea setback.
Villa have hit a poor run of form too, but their hopes of a top-half finish remain within reach.
European qualification looks unlikely now, with the Birmingham club sitting in 11th place with one win in their last six league games.
But Leeds, Arsenal and Everton are within their reach and Villa have more games remaining on their fixture schedule than those clubs.
Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan were on target in a 2-0 win for City when the two sides met at the Etihad in January.
