Crystal Palace v Arsenal live stream, BT Sport, Wednesday 19 May, 7pm BST

Arsenal will be hoping to keep their slim European hopes alive by beating Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The Gunners have long been out of the Champions League race, but they could yet secure a spot in next season's edition of the Europa League. Mikel Arteta’s side sprang a surprise in their last encounter, beating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, and now find themselves within four points of the top six.

Qualifying for Europe’s secondary competition is still a big ask, though: Arsenal must win both of their remaining matches and hope West Ham, Tottenham and Everton all slip up to varying degrees.

Crystal Palace twice came from behind to beat Aston Villa 3-2 on Sunday. That victory moved Roy Hodgson’s side on to 44 points for the campaign, with the Eagles now just one point adrift of Wolves in 12th place. Hodgson is expected to depart at the end of the season, which means this looks set to be his final home game in charge of the club he supported as a boy. The 73-year-old will be desperate to end his Selhurst Park tenure on a high.

Arsenal will hope to have David Luiz available again, despite confirming last week that the Brazilian will not be at the club next season.

Granit Xhaka has been ruled out, but Hector Bellerin could start if he gets over a knock in time. Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette will hope to start after beginning the Chelsea game on the bench.

James Tomkins could start for Palace after coming on as a substitute at the weekend. James McArthur, Nathan Ferguson, Connor Wickham and Mamadou Sakho are all injured, while Patrick van Aanholt was absent on Sunday due to a family issue.

Nathaniel Clyne is available again, while Vicente Guaita is likely to replace Jack Butland between the sticks after being rested against Villa.

Kick-off is at 7.00pm BST and the game is being shown on BT Sport 1. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Crystal Palace v Arsenal live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!

NordVPN NordLocker

NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps

A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.

Surfshark Surfshark VPN

Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price

It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
