Late Woodgate leap seals Spurs win at Hull

LONDON - An 86th-minute header by Jonathan Woodgate gave struggling Spurs a much-needed win and continued Hull's steady slide towards the relegation zone. Spurs went ahead through an Aaron Lennon shot after 17 minutes but a blunder by goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini allowed Michael Turner to bundle in an equaliser 10 minutes later.

Hull, who have won only once since the heady days of October and now lost seven home league games, hit the post through Kamil Zayatte before Benoit Assou-Ekotto swung in a tempting cross which Woodgate buried following a great leap.
