Sheffield United v Burnley live stream: how to watch the Premier League wherever you are in the world
Watch a Sheffield United v Burnley live stream, as both teams look to end on a high
Sheffield United v Burnley live stream, BT Sport, Sunday 23 May, 4pm BST
Sheffield United will be hoping to end a dismal season on a positive note when they take on Burnley this weekend.
There have been few highs for the Blades this term, following their exhilarating first season back in the Premier League in 2019/20. Chris Wilder’s side lost each of their first four games and things barely improved from there, with United amassing just two points from the first 51 available this season. Their fate was in effect sealed before the midway point of the campaign, with an uptick in January and February proving to be nothing more than an aberration.
Despite their team’s poor record this season, most United fans were disappointed to see Wilder leave the club in March. Paul Heckingbottom has been in charge on an interim basis since then, but the search for a new permanent boss is ongoing. United will no doubt hope to make an early appointment as they target an immediate return to the top table.

Burnley secured another season of Premier League football by beating Fulham 2-0 last week. Sean Dyche has once again steered his side clear of trouble, despite being given little to spend in the transfer market and on wages. The Clarets boss will want to see an improvement here, though, with Burnley losing 4-0 to Leeds last weekend and 3-0 to Liverpool on Wednesday.
Dyche will have to make do without Robbie Brady, Phil Bardsley, Dale Stephens and Kevin Long, but Nick Pope looks set to make his return between the sticks in place of Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Sheffield United will be unable to call upon the services of Ethan Ampadu, Oli McBurnie, Jack O’Connell, Oli Burke and Billy Sharpe. Sander Berge and George Baldock will need to be assessed, with the former potentially poised to make his final appearance for the club ahead of a summer transfer.
Kick-off is at 4pm BST and the game is being shown on BT Sport 3. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Sheffield United v Burnley live stream from outside your country
If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).
All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
There are plenty of options out there, including:
ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps
A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.
Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price
It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
