Key striker back for Sfaxien's African final

TUNIS - Strikers Blaise Kouassi and Abdelkrim Nafti will be available for Tunisia's CS Sfaxien in the African Confederation Cup final on Saturday.

The pair have been key components of Sfax's reaching a continental club competition final for a third successive year but both had been doubtful for match against Etoile Sahel.

The second leg of the Confederation Cup final, which Sfaxien won last year, is being played at Etoile's ground in Sousse after a goalless draw in Sfax a fortnight ago.

Winger Nafti has recovered from a knee injury picked up in the first leg of the final, while central striker Kouassi is back in training after a minor knock, the club said on Friday.

The pair helped Sfax to the final of the African Champions League in 2006 with Nafti's earning a call-up to the Tunisia side and Kouassi among the competition's leading goal scorers.

Sahel, appearing in an African club competition final for a fifth successive year, will start as favourites.
