Leeds United v Newcastle United live stream, Amazon Prime, Wednesday 16 December, 6pm GMT

Leeds will be looking to bounce back from Friday’s loss to West Ham when they take on Newcastle on Wednesday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side succumbed to their sixth defeat of the season last time out, going down 2-1 against David Moyes’ men. The Whites have now won just one of their last six Premier League games, although there is still a healthy gap separating them from the bottom three for now. Bielsa will still be keen for an improvement, though, particularly with regard to Leeds’ home form: the Yorkshire outfit have not won at Elland Road since beating Fulham in September. Leeds turning things around with a win is now 3/4 on Betfred.

Dwight Gayle’s late header against his former club earned Newcastle a 2-1 victory over West Brom on Saturday. That result saw the Magpies pull further clear of the relegation zone, and a victory in midweek could even see them climb into the top half of the table. Newcastle to win is currently 18/5 on 888Sport.

Newcastle have not been the most entertaining team in the Premier League this term, but no one can argue against the effectiveness of Steve Bruce’s approach. Despite taking fewer shots per game than any other team in the division, Newcastle have managed to avoid defeat in seven of their 11 matches to date. A draw in this one is 3/1 with 888Sport.

Diego Llorente remains sidelined with a muscular problem and Robin Koch is out with a knee injury, so Luke Ayling could continue alongside Liam Cooper at centre-back. Adam Forshaw and Gaetano are long-term absentees, so Bielsa has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the midweek round of Premier League fixtures.

Newcastle should have Martin Dubravka back in contention later this month, but for now Karl Darlow remains in possession of the No.1 jersey. Ryan Fraser and Jamaal Lascelles could return from thigh injuries, but Allan Saint-Maximin is a doubt. Paul Dummett has yet to play this season and will definitely miss out.

Kick-off is at 18.00pm GMT and the game is being shown on Amazon Prime in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Leeds United v Newcastle United live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Bukayo Saka assist. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
