Denmark and Poland seal warm-up wins

BANGKOK - World Cup qualifiers Denmark thrashed Singapore 5-1 and Poland beat hosts Thailand 3-1 in the annual King's Cup tournament in Nakhon Ratchasima on Wednesday.

Denmark were three up inside 35 minutes thanks to Jim Larsen, Jakob Poulsen and Rajko Lekic. Mikkel Thygesen and Soren Rieks added two goals after the break to give their team the overall lead with two wins from two round-robin matches.

Kamil Glik put Poland ahead after a goalmouth scramble on 42 minutes. Patryk Malecki and Marcin Robak stretched their lead before Terdsak Chaiman scored a consolation for Thailand in stoppage time.
